Design
We design the whole experience, the public face and the daily workbench both. It is calm, legible, and made for the tired volunteer hand rather than the power user. Most of this software is run on a Saturday. We design for that Saturday.
Approach
We are a small studio, and we work with the communities we serve directly, with no layers and no hand-offs. Here is what we offer, how we hold the work, and what it actually looks like to build something with us.
What we offer
We design the whole experience, the public face and the daily workbench both. It is calm, legible, and made for the tired volunteer hand rather than the power user. Most of this software is run on a Saturday. We design for that Saturday.
We engineer it thoroughly, so it arrives feeling complete instead of half-made. The security, the records layer, and the polish are all proven work, not improvised for the first time on your project.
Switching is an import, not a project. We bring your people, your history, and your records across. Everything is cleaned, checked, and reconciled, so day one on the new thing looks like the parish you already are, not an empty database.
Shipping is the start of the relationship, not the end. We stay, with a steady cadence of improvements, backups that actually run, and a real person on the other end when you write. We are optimising for year ten, not the first invoice.
The way we work
These are not slogans on a wall. Each one is a decision that costs us something, and each keeps the work honest.
No reseller layer, no account managers reading from a script. The people who design and build the software are the same people who answer when you have a question.
We say no to more than we say yes to. What we take on, we finish: the whole workflow, not the demo of it.
Export everything, anytime, at no cost. The records are kept in a form you can read and carry without us. Leaving is a feature, not a punishment.
Not leased. We build software the way you build a room your grandchildren will stand in: plumb, square, and meant to outlast the person who laid it.
We build for the institutions that keep things, and we mean to be kept, too.
What it looks like
It starts with an email and a real conversation, not a sales call. We learn what you have and what you need, and we tell you honestly whether we are the right studio for it.
We scope the work plainly: what we will build, in what order, and what it costs. No open-ended meter running in the background.
Getting started is a one-time step: the migration, the setup, the training. You pay for it up front or roll it into the first year, and then it is behind you for good.
Then we settle into the steady part: improvements arriving like seasons, records kept safe, and a studio that means to still be here, answering, when it matters.
Write to us and you’ll reach a person who works on the thing. They will think about your actual situation and tell you the truth as we understand it. No sales call unless you ask for one.
